Glendalough – Single Cask Burgundy

After 3 years in an alligator-charred, first fill Boubon cask, this whiskey then spends about a year in a French oak Burgundy cask. Steeped in full bodied pinot noir wine, the cask brought complexity and depth to this lively, single grain whiskey. French oak imparts powerful woody notes with tannins and complex spices while Grand Cru Burgundy brings deep, dark layers of juicy yet earthy flavors to under pin the lighter floral and citrus notes in the whiskey.
